Nanzikambe Show

After staging an impressive act at Grahamstown festival, award-winning theatre company Nanzikambe Arts, is to storm the French cultural centre at 2pm on the 21st and 28th of this month with ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF DEMOCRACY, a beautiful and strong performance piece, incorporating film imagery, mask, live and recorded song, traditional dance, and a powerful portrayal of power relations from the ‘top to the bottom’ of the political spectrum in Malawi, woven together by a human story of jealousy and rivalry between two MPs.

Masekela in Malawi

One of Africa’s great saxophonists and anti-apartheid icon Hugh Masekela is expected to jet into the country on July 6 for two shows in Lilongwe and Blantyre and he has promised fireworks for jazz lovers in Malawi. LINK
