The Thyolo Stone Story

Legend has it, that a stone, somewhere in the Thyolo area, regularly moves itself to where it would like to go.
A friend suggested that we go and have a look for it.
“Does anyone know where it is?”
“No”
I suppose that’s because it keeps moving then.
So here is a picture of another stone. Maybe this is the one?
EDIT - NO, THIS ONE!

No, that is not the one. The rock, named Mwalawanthunzi (’rock of the shade’), is located coming from Limbe on the left hand site of the Thyolo road at a sign reading Mapanga. In colonial times the road constructors supposedly failed to get rid of it, as it kept returning to its original spot overnight. They thus had to divert the road. Picture.

Just a word of correction, the rock “mwalawanthuzi” is located coming from Limbe to the right of Thyolo Road.

So it has moved again then?
